Orange cats successfully completed the mission of dismantling massive concrete structures accidentally(!) built near Ukraine's main stadium this year.

Трудная битва (видео см. ниже) оранжевых котов «Caterpillar» с серым бетоном «От Ковальской» у Республиканского стадиона (a.k.a. “Спорткомплекс Олимпийский”) завершилась. Победили коты.

Katie of ICA, Kiev, prepared children to sing some Christmas songs.

Here's the practice before the service – Deck the Halls [mp3]

The performance starts: small kids need to be carefully talked into relaxing first [mp3]
…then they can sing (Deck the Halls also featured here) [mp3]
Looks like with the hall half-empty (when practicing) children feel more comfortable…

There was a small pause which I took advantage of and relocated to a more favorable recording position.

Sunday Morning in November.mp3

A foggy morning on the last Sunday in this November, 8 AM [mp3]
Recorded with WM-61in A-B Stereo, through the window 10 meters above ground in a quiet downtown side street.

Notes:

  • The overall sound level in the recording is boosted by 10 dB to shift the sound into more manageable dynamic region
  • Highs above 8 kHz were boosted by additional 0dB@8kHz to +4dB@20kHz
  • The weather was nice and quiet, but the wind was starting to grow from the reported 3 km/h, so some parts of the recoding had to be rolled-off below 40 Hz to alleviate heavy rumble

Как и в случае с известным кинофильмом, название этого репортажа не несёт никакого смысла. Разве что, немного символизма в большом количестве передвижений в один день: удалось побывать на четырёх мероприятиях.
Везде были музыка и песни. Везде производились записи.
