На прошлой неделе ужесточил рекламную политику на STEREO: перенёс блок на самое видное место, под заголовок статьи. При этом продолжал почти полное бездействие в смысле создания контента.
Статистика показала – ускорился рост добавления STEREO в “Избранное” (“Закладки”) посетителями сайта: за последнюю неделю показатель примерно на 20% выше, чем за предыдущую.
Просто совпадение или таки реклама нравится?
Loading ...Спустя 42 дня после вступления в систему рекламного брокера Google AdSense, на счету накопилось вознаграждение за размещение рекламы на нескольких сайтах в размере $10.02.
Это довольно быстро – первая круглая сумма – $1.00 – потребовала 10 дней.

Первый итог, первый доллар… Прошло 10 дней как был открыт эккаунт AdSense и вот сегодняшний отчёт Гугла: 3162 показа, [censored] кликов, Page CTR 0.[censored]%, eCPM (фактическая стоимость тысячи показов) $0.32, Total earnings $1.00.
Если бы не круглая цифра, я бы и не написал об этом. Многие считают оскорбительным предоставлять тысячу импрессий за несколько центов. А мне интересно понаблюдать, так что пока убирать рекламу не буду.

After a week of non-writing at STEREO website statistics showed Google search’s contribution for traffic diminished somewhat noticeably – by as much as 20% (approx).
This was deduced from observing the proportions of contributions from two of the top 3 search engines topical for STEREO – Google, Windows Live and Yandex.
Yandex is new here, yet it is perceived as important traffic supplier having provided 1/4 of the Google’s traffic during previous two months. This week the distance between the two was shrinking.
BTW “Add to bookmarks” figure in AWstats felt a bit too: from the whopping 36.6% in the beginning of the month to 34% for the 24 days of November. So you rather have a good reason to suspend writing like this.
Small wonder the traffic in general continued to grow as usual, 1% a day on average – this is the momentum at work.
Traffic growth for www.STEREO.org.ua looks promising now:
Especially so in the light of STEREO.org.ua having been largely neglected until late July 2007 since the last record was published in January. No wonder traffic plummeted then.

В самому центрі Києва, майже на березі Дніпра (але на дуже високому правому березі) між Києво-Печерською Лаврою та музеєм ВВВ (музей Великої Вітчизняної Війни, найбільш відома ознака – Родина-мати, “сталева баба”)

Влітку бувають різні фестивалі, концерти – відвідування безкоштовне.

That’s me claiming my blog STEREO.org.ua at Technorati (they required that link to be published here for authentication purposes).
Had to resort to that because I simply got tired of seeing my LiveJournal “mirror” featured as a “real” blog at Technorati while www.STEREO.org.ua was totally unknown there. Moreover, pinging www.STEREO.org.ua anonymously didn’t fetch any results for quite some time already.
So I finally decided to register and “claim” the blog.
Right at the beginning of the claiming process (still “in progress”) www.STEREO.org.ua got a rank 2,443,995 – as displayed within the blog owner’s control panel (displayed as 2,515,283 to the rest of the world) – with the authority of “2″ (almost8hours.livejournal.com, the “mirror”, was 7,966,799 with “no authority”).
Let’s see what happens next…

Looks like “claiming” doesn’t make your blog to become known to Technorati (see links above – the pages they refer to didn’t change). I did suspect this as I never ever claimed my blog’s LJ mirror though it is known to Technorati. Is Technorati all messed up?
Top Commentators are now featured in the sidebar with the links to their web sites free from rel="nofollow".
This is good for building up your Google PR (PageRank).
