Why transfer VHS?

This is a very fruitful experience.

• First because it enables you to seek within a good old video instantly
  when you want to show friends specific scenes,
• second, it eases spreading the message carried by the medium
  (when a video owner permits doing so, of course),
• third, and probably the most inspiring to a “digital realm
  artist” – is video restoration.
  It is simply amazing how dramatically better a digitized piece can look
  when done right!
